Twelve 18-ounce bottles is a serious haul, but the sauce is so rich and balanced that we've already gone through two jars in a week. The truffle flavor comes through without overpowering the tomatoes, which is exactly what I wanted for a quick weeknight pasta.
The truffle flavor is bold but doesn't overpower the tomatoes, so it works for both a quick weeknight dinner and a fancier plate. Only knock is that twelve bottles take up serious pantry space, but at this price per jar it's hard to complain. I've already used two jars this week alone.
It’s a good marinara if you’re into the truffle kick, though the 12-bottle case is a lot to get through if you’re just cooking for one or two. The sauce is rich and balanced, but the truffle taste does fade a bit once you heat it up.
